The chateau occurs on the place of older castle Eisenberg from the 14th century. Latest Renaissance chateau was in the 17th century rebuilt in Barocque style by A.Port and O.Broggio. In the park there are many of interesting plants. Christoph Willibald Gluck, the famous Viena´s composer of 18th century, stayd there for some time.
